Feel lost among the endless possibilities to increase your website traffic? This article doesn't list all the strategies that exist, just the ones that are proven to work.

Here's how to find them:

• Log in to the Ahrefs Keywords Explorer tool.
• Enter a relevant keyword.
• Go to the "Matching terms" report.

Filter the results using the "Keyword Difficulty (KD)" filter to find keywords that are easy to rank for.

2. Gain brand awareness by appearing on podcasts

The easiest way to find podcasts where you can be featured is to Google them.

Look through the results, choose the relevant ones, find the presenter's email address and offer yourself as a guest.

3. Improve your ranking by filling in the content gaps

If the top-ranking sites cover similar sub-topics, then they are probably important and readers expect them to. If your content doesn't include these, it could be because you're not ranking higher.

4. Get traffic from Reddit by sharing bare posts

Reddit has over 330 million monthly active users, but Reddit hates marketing. However, if you share useful content, you can avoid the resentment that comes from spammy behaviour.
